sunlit fern panoramic

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by dmwphoto, Oct 2, 2005.

  1. this is my first EVER attempt at a panoramic composition. I gathered pictures this weekend to put together 3 or 4. Here is the first. The moring sun sent a beam thru the trees as I was hiking back to a small lake. I stopped and set up this image. Your comments are encouraged.
a few minutes later the sun beam dissapated

    Very nice.
    Light beam captured very will.

Are you converting to SRGB for the web.
I know that camera captures gorgeous colors.

They do see just a tad dull.

    Should help alot Dave....

Give you back your color for the internet.
Go to edit..convert to profile and choose The srgb option.

Might want to save your original first in case you want to work on it again.

I knew you were missing some color there :>))

You have some gorgeous country that you have photographed. Really enjoy seeing them.

    Like that Hidden lake to.

PS...Don't be afraid to hit a bit of saturation and sharpen a bit extra for the internet as well. Someday they will catch up to todays technology :>)))))
  6. The first one is my favorite with the ray of light, great capture.
