Sunset and Sunrise

    After 9 days of rain, 4 of which were consumed with a major and rare New England nor'easter, the rain finally stopped yesterday and the clouds started to thin themselves out late in the afternoon.

    I don't typically shoot sunsets over the marsh, but the contrasting soft pastels were pleasing to my eyes after so many days of rain....

    And finally another sunrise...still cloudy but at least it sort of came up :) 
    This was taken at the mouth of the Merrimack River in Newburyport MA.....
