Sunset At Everglades National Park.

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by camerapapi, Jul 22, 2008.

  1. This is a sunset that I photographed early this year at the Everglades National Park.
For those of you that have been in the Park before I am sure you know it can be accessed through the North East, on Hwy 41 West (Shark Valley) and also through Florida City, the Southern part of the Park exiting Hwy 1. The Florida City entrance leads to Flamingo, a nice place to visit in the winter months if you do not want to be eaten by mosquitoes.
The picture was taken with my D70S and the 12-24 f4 Tokina set to 24mm.
I used my old Manfrotto 2031 with Linhof ballhead.

    Beautiful sunset.

  4. Thank you for your comments. This shot was taken in the NE side of the Everglades or Shark Valley. This place is usually full of birds but for reasons not known to me, this year the birds were on vacation somewhere. I was three times there during the winter and there was not much to photograph.
Hopefully this year it will be better.
    William.
