  1. Took a quick walk through my new local nature preserve today.

Checked on the osprey chicks. Should fledge any day now.

    Was following this guy

    when up popped these three!

I haven't seen too many otters in the wild. This was very cool.

  2. Very cool!! Nice shots. Where is this new preserve? I am just up the road in Orlando and am always looking for a new place to shot.

Very cool indeed! I would love to see an Otter in the wild. Great photos!

  5. This preserve was opened a few months ago. It is just behind the Largo library here in Clearwater. It is actually part of a water treatment facility and sits under some high tension wires. The city has done a great job of cleaning up the place. It has now become a small sanctuary for some impressive birds, gators, fish, and otters.

If you are ever out this way, it would be nice to stop in and check it out. I'm not sure it would be worth a trip from Orlando by itself.
  6. Extremely well done Mitch

    whats with the wildlife stuff:>)))))))

    Your darn good.
    Nice pics

Ya got a heavy magenta cast though.
    Check your WB (last 3)
  8. Good eye, Gale. I had accidentally left the WB on fluorescent after shooting in a gym the night before. With these shots that had no white, I didn't adjust the WB. I've got it figured out now.
