Swainsons and Red-tailed hawks

    I can identify the red-tailed, but i am not completely sure about the other one. I am fairly certain it is a Swainsons, so a positive identification would be nice.

    Like the owl and kite, these guys were also around the city of Davis. I had a tough time tracking them so i had a number of clipped wings, but i still like them.

    Can't help with the ID but I agree with you about the last photo - the eye and the light make it special. They're all terrific.
