    Hi all,

Situation: Sydney Harbour, Sat 6th Aug, time: 3pm afternoon - Winter

There was quite a variety of boats on the water today. Heres a few (all D2X, 70-200 VR and some with the TC-17EII extender:

This was the cutest boat - looks like a pekinese (sp ?)

then comes the local operator doing a harbour tour for the tourists

hmmm - looks like a boat to me :)  Oh and I was amazed this shot came out - I was handholding the Nikkor 70-200 VR with the x 1.7 extender and swear I was shaking badly (with the weight) as it passed over - surprisingly it was resonably sharp but caught some full on setting sun.

then another type for the ones that want 360 degree jetboat spins

finally, one for the more refined. This speedboat I believe is an extremely expensive one (saw it on TV a while back) I forget the details but they are a replica of the old originals that you'd see Grace Kelly types leaving Monte Carlo casinos to get back to the mothership 8)

I enjoyed watching these Simon, the last replica is expensive!!
  3. I love Sydney Harbor and watching the boats come and go. The Harbor Cruise I took was on one of those big boats with multi-levels. Should've found one of these, like the 4th one!!

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I took loads more pictures but didnt post them as I figured you'd get bored with them all.

Also how do I see what you lot post - I seem to miss alot of the picture posts here as it's hard to know where certain people post to eg. I'm sure you post lots of pictures here too but how can I get to see where they are ?
