This is a photo of my son in law who took his life on Christmas Day. Yes very sad when mental illness is so hard to live with.
I was wondering if somebody here could be able to crop his photo without his daughter for his funeral this coming Friday. I would like an 8 by 10 if possible.
I know I don't post much on this site but I read the postings every day...TIA

So sorry to learn about your son-in-law's death.

This image file is way too small to use. If you have a larger file that is too large to post here, post it at a free file-sharing site such as Dropbox and provide the URL to it. The larger the file, the better the chance an 8 x 10 can be made from the left half of the image.

For your information the processing was as follows.
  1. Load into PS.
  2. Use Gigapixel AI to enlarge to 4x, so 16 times the number of pixels.
  3. Crop at 4*5 aspect ratio for an 8*10 print.
  4. Content-aware fill to remove the face on the right.
  5. Sharpen AI to sharpen.
  6. Blur tool to fix an over-sharp forehead line.
  7. Save.
It is amazing what a bit of AI processing can achieve nowadays.

My heart is with you and your family. When you see your son-in-law's handsome face and broad smile, it's such a lesson of not knowing what goes on deep inside. My deepest condolences.
That is true. I never expected this from him but 2 yrs ago he started acting different and things went downhill for him.
