Day off today so thought I would take a trip to the local Wild Animal Park. The weather was terrible so didn't stay long. Took a few quick pictures of the residents.

Still getting the hang of my D70 so be gentle with me.

Is that an emu or the mother-in-law?

I don't see anything wrong with these David. Look like pretty good shots to me.

Welcome to the Cafe BTW.

No need to be gentle - these are good shots! Is the guy with the bad hair day an ostrich? And who is the cute little bug-eyed guy?

    Thanks

The guy with the bad hair day is an Emu and the other is a ring tailed Lemur. We can get so close as they are all allowed to roam free in the park. They also have lions and tigers but thankfully they haven't let them roam free yet.

Have a look at their site
