Taking a Dive

    This is Alex, an amazing little daredevil in my son's swimming class. The more I worked on this in PS, the more I thought about Alex being the only kid in the pool in his mind while he was flying through the air. I hope I was able to convey that.
    BTW, this is Alex's third week of swimming classes!

    Fantastic photo! I love seeing kids in action. Having 3 boys of my own, I am amazed on a daily basis by just how energetic and daring they can be.

    I bet this little guy's mom would LOVE to have a copy of this.

    What a brave boy! That looks like the perfect belly flop. I like what you did with the color. It does make you focus on the boy. Good work.

    Selective color is hard to achieve...but I think it looks good in this image. Good job.

    Thanks everyone, appreciate all the good words! :D 

    Yes, there is a spectacular belly-flop that follows this! Alex is fearless...he goes under water and cruises around for a long while too...makes his mom VERY nervous, and I'm cheering him along the whole time.
