I saw that article the day it was published at PetaPixel but didn't read it. Does the photographer make photos of women's shoes?

Cameras like this are common in India, and I assume Pakistan, Bangladesh and elsewhere. In most Indian cities you can find roadside photographers, barbers, dentists (!!!) and other trades. Somewhere in my "stuff" I have a picture of me made with one of these.
