Nice shots Joshua.

I have read good things about the Tamron 180, but a bad customer service experience a few years ago (I know it's just me) left such a bad taste, that I will never own a Tamron again.... :(.....

Thats a real shame. I know a few Tamron Reps personaly so I guess I've had better luck with them then most people.

I had one and found it to be OK. I never like the manual focusing as it is almost impossible to use. You can go from infinity to 1:1 in like half a turn. Since I don't do much macro anymore, I got the Voigtlander 180mm. Its much smaller, a cream machine (similar to 85 f1.4), excellent rendition and tack sharp at f4. At 1:4 ratio, you can get a butterfly full frame.
