Tamron 28-75 portraits

    Very nice. The Nikon equivalent (28-70 f/2.8) remains my favorite all-rounder for general studio/location portraiture. The 85 f/1.4 (aka "Cream Machine") fills a specific niche for me, and then only in outdoor (when I want to 'lose' the background) or indoor (low light) situations. I only ever use that lens at f/2.8 or wider.

    Nice quality! I wish I'd known about this lens before I bought the Nikon 24-85 3.5-4.5 -- may need to work on your masking technique though -- the edges look a little too hard
