Tamron zoom lens on a D40?

Just wondering if this is a good deal, and if it would work on my D40?

I mainly use my camera on babies and kids. I know I still have alot to learn with my D40. I will be taking some classes in March with my sister, as we both own a Nikon and want to learn so much more!

I really don't know much of anything about the lenses, but I would suggest making sure they have a Built in Focus motor because if they are screw driven and Im thinking they might be (could very well be wrong) it wont autofocus on a D40.
