Tatoosh Range (Mt. Rainier NP)

This summer Mt. Rainier has been over run with boots and hikers...its been crazy.. sometimes so many cars its sad.
but many overlook the Tatoosh range which has its own set of beauty and identity.

Karl, that's a piece of heaven and so nicely captured.
thanks Nick.. if you ever go to Paradise on Mt. Rainier, if you just walk across the street, there is a short trail that leads you to this view.. its just there a lightly traveled space most people never know about or go to.

check it out next time.. but Rainier is a zoo right now.. unless you go at evening or early morning.. BTW.. wild flowers are out

Sunrise is a great place to see the milkway as well as the climbers moving to the summit with their headlamps on.. around 1130 or midnite..

When I finally make it to Ranier I am going to be sure and ask you for advice. It's on our bucket list of things to do when Greg retires (next year). Your photos are always so gorgeous.

absolutely.. maybe I will join you.. I know some nice hikes up there..
