TC14E I vs TC14E II (for 80-200 af-s)

Discussion in 'Lens Lust' started by lexiticus, May 31, 2007.

  1. Ok which one is the right one, I've seen numerous articles and comments about which one works with which, But the more I read the more I find conflicting views on which one works and which one doesn't.

Anyone used one (or both) that can tell me for sure?
  2. same tc...different cosmetics.
  3. Ok, that makes it easy for me
Now just to find one :)

I have both and they work fine with my 70-200 and AF-S I 300/2.8...jb is right, the difference is cosmetic.

I'd consider a trade for one if you happen to have a mint 85mm/1.8...

Functionally identical, one has a smooth finish, the other is a crinkle finish.
  6. Too bad, I don't...
I do have a 70-300 that no-one is buying :)  But I don't think you need that considering your other lenses haha!
