TC14E I vs TC14E II (for 80-200 af-s)

Ok which one is the right one, I've seen numerous articles and comments about which one works with which, But the more I read the more I find conflicting views on which one works and which one doesn't.

Anyone used one (or both) that can tell me for sure?

I have both and they work fine with my 70-200 and AF-S I 300/2.8...jb is right, the difference is cosmetic.

I'd consider a trade for one if you happen to have a mint 85mm/1.8...

Functionally identical, one has a smooth finish, the other is a crinkle finish.

Too bad, I don't...
I do have a 70-300 that no-one is buying But I don't think you need that considering your other lenses haha!
