We raised four daughters.....no sons. But, now we have more grandsons than granddaughters. I get such a kick out of the boys. (The girls, too!!) But, the boys are so much fun. A couple of weeks ago I shared a photo that I had just converted to black and white of my oldest grandsons when they were much younger. A comment on the photo said I should try to duplicate it with them now that they are older. I'm laughing as I think about that. I wanted to play with my 85 f1.8 lens while they were here tonight even though the indoor lighting was terrible. They wanted to watch the NBA All Star game and couldn't be bothered. I am pretty sure that there isn't much chance I will be able to duplicate the photo of them in their younger days without some sort of bribery involved. This is how excited they were to have a photo taken tonight. Luckily their sister Rylee will still cooperate. BTW, I need practice on knowing how much to stop down the 85 f1.8 for portraits. I'm out of practice. ( I used to own the 85 f1.4 D).

The original post.....The Black and White when they were young.
