testing TC 1.7 with 200-400 lens in the garden

  1. Perhaps Jerry can ID this feller for me. It is really just a test of the TC on this lens and this guy got in the way.

  3. Thank you Gale. I was hoping you might see this. I just got the 1.7 TC today and it appears to be very clean and clear. I have not yet shot with the 70-200 but when I do I will let you know.

    very nice pic! From the features that I can see (and I don't claim to be an expert on dragonflies, just have a keen interest in them) the critter is Libella incesta, or slate skimmer.

  8. Thanks so much Jerry. I got to get me a book on insects and such because the detail in them is amazing and I love to know what I am taking pictures of. I appreciate your comment and help.
