Testing the 85 1.4 (2nd photo added)

Discussion in 'Lens Lust' started by Terri French, Jul 22, 2008.

  1. I have a cafe friend, who wishes to remain anonymous, who loaned me his 85 1.4, 50 1.4, and 35 2 to test out (not for purchasing just for my experience). I'm afraid that he is going to cost me a lot of money.

But, I still can't believe his generosity.

He asked me to post this here. He said that we need to help the economy by spending money.

(BTW, I'm not proud or anything, but this adorable little guy is my beautiful grandson.)

Look at that Terri!! I love #1, while the second is very very cute too.
  7. Dynamite shots!! It'll take a bit more spending to jumpstart the economy.
So, if you're ever in NM feel free to "borrow" my 200 f2 VR and anything else you'd like to try
and we'll get this recovery show on the road!

  11. Thanks, Linda. It seems that it is a pretty fun lens with my limited 15 minute trial of it.
  12. NO, NO, NO. I will never try a 200 f2 VR. Funny...... Thanks.
  13. Thanks, Steve. I think you are right.
  14. Well, I've still got the 35 f2 and the 50 f 1.4 to try out. I will probably by the 85 though. I've been thinking about it for a while. Just have to decide if I really want to keep the 70-200 or sell it.
