Had to take my wife to Jackson for some minor surgery so we headed over after dinner which put us in the park right at sunset. I wasn't planning on shooting any landscapes so stupid me didn't have a wide lens or a ballhead with me just the 100-400 in case we saw critters. As chance would have it the sunset was pretty sweet. Here's a couple of vertical shots stitched together.

Very dramatic! Further proof that a telephoto lens can be an excellent landscape lens, despite the people who think only a wide-angle lens serves that purpose.

The Tetons are a favorite part of the world for me. Thanks for sharing you image.
Thanks Mike. I originally had 9 stitched images but the file size was crushing my system. If I have a few hours to kill I might take another crack at it. There's some really nice colors in the peaks to the left.
