  1. Earlier Roy posted about shooting the moon at F/11, spot metering. Since I need all the help I can get shooting this kind of stuff I set the D500 and 200-500VR on a tripod using those settings. I went out early to set things up and as I composed my first shot I noticed something crossing the moon. Photobombed again.

    I just did a test shot as well, no airplane, and the wind @ 15 MPH does a number on IQ at 1/250 second.
     
  4. Yeah, you gotta find some shelter. The wind isn't too bad here tonight.
