still surprises me in what it can produce...
I enjoyed mine while I had it! :smile:
I agree, the 18-70 is a great lens for the money. Last trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone, it was my only lscape lens - I think its pretty good IMHO:

I took a bunch of pics the other day at the Mid-Ohio classic bike weekend. Essentially I started with the 18-70, but then I switched to my 35. At first I was much happier with my 35 results, but as I go back through I really don't have much to complain about with the 18-70 (granted most are in the f 7.1 to 8 range). I bought it some time ago when a low-ball ebay bid was successful (I really didn't need it)- - - -
anyway, here's a classic bike (also with the 18-70) .......
I gave my D70 with this lens to my daughter when I upgraded. I do miss the lens sometimes. A great performer.
