I really love my macro glass, but I guess macros aren't the only lenses that can do closeups. The second shot is actually from a point and shoot. :eek:

I was very pleasantly surprised by the output of the small point'n shoot that produced my second image. Perhaps I'll end up being a 3 camera guy.

Went to Hawaii recently with my E-M5. The below pics were taken with the kit lens and I was using a circular polarizer with a step up ring so it has that vignetting when shooting at the widest angle as you can see in the first pic =/

Most importantly, it was the best relaxing vacation ever! lol

Shot from a distance of 1 inch while playing around with the close focus feature of a point and shoot.
The camera actually lets you shoot as close as 1 centimeter using the shortest focal length.
Maybe this feature is old news to many, but I was shocked.

Very nice photos all, really enjoying this thread for many months now!

It's been just about every day over 100F, don't get to get out much with the camera... First day in the 70's and rain, so I actually stepped outside.
