The Avian Center

    On Wednesday some of us took a ride to the Avian Reconditioning Center in Apopka. These folks do marvelous work rehbbing and caring for raptors as well as conducting educational programs. You can check them out here. You can also assist them in their efforts by joining their adopt-a-bird program.

    Wow, they're all gorgeous, but I'm partial to the close up and the eagle...

    Thanks Kristin. Those horned owls are great for closeups because of their eyes.

    Very Nice Harry. I would LOVE to capture a barn owl in flight!
