The begining of an idea

    When an idea for something new comes to mind I like to break it down and test it. Then build up to the final vision. Anyone else do that? I take shots like this as a sort of photographers notebook.

    This one is about showing motion in a strobist type shot.
  2. OK, so since you hid the EXIF data on this, what shutter speed did you shoot at? Looks like maybe 1/30, rear curtain sync?

    Cool shot, BTW...can't wait to see what you're thinking...

    It was 1/30th, but this shot was not rear curtain. Rear curtain was tested. :wink: Forgot my monopod at home or I would have shot at 1/15.
  4. OK, so her hand must have been going down at the time of the shot instead of up...I didn't notice the ball's motion...
