UV shot @f4
Unfortunately the format here does not allow for full size shots at which it reveals its full beauty. I also have a f1.5 version which looks like a dream, but which can't be seen at 1024pix.
Hey Klaus! Long time no see! Beauty of a rose! How'd you do that?
What a deep rich color without foreboding.
This is a reflected UV (ultraviolet light) shot using a Nikon D70m camera, a Baader 2" U-filter (I call UG11xx) and a Nikon SB-140 flash with attached SW-5UV filter. The lens is a quite old f1.5 lens which has been calibrated for UV light use. The pics were processed in Bibble 4.9.5 and the color adjusted to my taste (UV by itself does not have a "color" since the shot shows the 340...400nm spectrum).
