I was inspired by the D40 people to ask this question.

What is your camera body of zen? What lens? And what do you shoot?

    Nikon FE + 28/F2
    Ilford HP5 BW 400 / Ilford Delta 100 BW

I take my FE + 28mm out and about with some black and white film and cruise for fun things to shoot in BW. I really like architecture at the moment.

    What about you?

Well, as of now I don't have many choices in bodies :)

But my lens of zen is the 35mm 1.8
  3. At the moment: D300 + 28mm AI
  4. For me, it is my D1x and 20mm UD (AI'd). It is a wonderful combo for landscapes and nature shots.

    God Bless,

    Leica MP and Summicron 35 + Tri-X

The D700 feels just so heavy and cumbersome after that …

It depends on what my purpose is:
    candids with friends/people: Zeiss Ikon + 35mm f/2 Biogon.
color film: Portra VC (still figuring out 160 or 400)
    b&w film: TMAX 100 or 400

    trying to be artsy: D700 + 58mm f/1.2 AIS or Zeiss 100mm f/2 Makro.

My D300 + 70-300VR and 3 pods of orcas off the shore of Lime Kiln Park. That's not only Zen, it's Nirvana :)

  12. D700 no grip 35 f/2. Favorite walk around combo.
