The Classic Leaf

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by Dwayne Oakes, Oct 3, 2008.

  1. Sorry for all of the water photos. The fall colors up here in southern
Ontario, Canada so far have not been that great. Here is my take
on a popular classic leaf photo.

    Thanks for taking a look.

Nice compostion ! Also like the BW post processing :)

  4. Beautiful capture Dwayne. I also like the B/W conversion. How about posting a color version? Also, what lens?

  5. Thanks everyone for the comments !

I use a short zoom for all of my nature work, Nikkor 18-70mm. No
color version. I use in-camera only and chose B/W for this photo because the
leaf was washed out and had no color in it also to bring out the texture
    in the rocks.

nice shot. i'd like to see a little more detail in the leaf so you can see the water droplets. just my preference :)
