Dave, this is such a Spectacular shot of your son! The only suggestion I have is to crop out the surroundings & have his face be more of the picture. Hope you don't mind my humble opinion.:smile:

Not at all Steve... Your B&W shots inspired me to try my hand at B&W conversions! I added a second one I like a little better for isolating the face more. I didn't crop it yet because I kind of like the full aspect of the 35mm lens I used.

Thanks, lighting is natural. Early am rainy weather. Shot with D700 and 35mm AF2 @ f/2.2 ISO 1000 .

Nice isolation on the eyes, really allows one to make "eye to eye" contact. Nice image.
