    I thought I'd quit reading and talking about it.
    Well its here.......D200.

    Thanks to everyone here for helping me with my decision.
    I would especially like to thank (gkost) for loaning me one of his cameras till I figured out what I wanted.

    Still waiting for the (2) Nikon lens & R1C1 speedlight that will be here Monday morning.

    Maybe I'll get my %&#@ together and have everything ready for the
    2008 EGT.

    Congratulations! I just picked up my D200 on Thursday; sadly I haven't had time to try it out yet though. It looks a lot nicer than my D70s :)

    Ahhh... the gold box. It is amazing at my age how I can still feel like a little kid when opening up the larger box to reveal the gold box and then slowly opening up the gold box! Just did the same not to long ago. Great camera. You will love it! Congrats and enjoy.

    You made the right choice. I just used mine for "real" today. It does perform.
