Great shooting, sharp and perfectly timed. I don't know which I like best 2 or 3.

the light was so bad that day at the Venice Rookery we shot from the wrong side after finding the nest. We had to wait 30 minutes to finally get a decent shot. These were cropped and processed more than normal.
For me the amazing thing is that the D5 + 500pf can keep up with my very fast panning. I had a lot more shots of this flight. The D5 didn't miss a single shot. Very fast small bird in poor light. I'm amazed. The 500pf is a BIF killer lens like no other, nothing comes close when you consider it's in your hands.

Randy you old timer................you are nothing but "nailing it" with the D5 on that 500pf lens. Kick me for buying a new E last year would ya ?!?!?! Keep it up.......looking very good !!!!
