Nice breeding plumage on this little one.
They are pretty with the orange feathers.
All of these are good but #2 is a stunner! A definite wallhanger.
Excellent captures Jimmy. Beautiful bird!
You seem to be banging them out today and all super shots.
Your on a Roll Jimmy
I had quite a few to go thru Gary. Thanks
That second shots is super!!
Very good set. You have a good place to shoot birds.
Whoa! How did you get so close? A 1000 mm lens? When I shoot cattle egrets, all I get is a white pixel flying away very fast.
Jimmy where do you find birds like that??? They are beautiful looking, I have never seen one of them before with that orange plumage.
These guys hang around cattle and eat whatever the cattle seem to kick up. They are all over the place here in S.E. Texas.
Thanks Nick. I have been trying for a while to get one of these guys and I finally found one that cooperated. He was very focused on hunting for food and didn't spook real easy.
I agree, all are great, but #2 is just wonderful! I wish there was a smiley to represent awestruck...
Super shots. Great job on the exposure.
Beautiful shots Jimmy. Perfect exposure and you really captured the bird's personality.
We have many great and snowy egrets in New England but a cattle egret is fairly uncommon. It is such a pretty bird and you capture it very well.
