I like it - nice lighting on the bird. Did you use flash on it?

The color balance looks very slightly off to me based on the tan breast and head ruff. It looks a bit "flesh tone" rather than the warmer brown/gold tone I see on these birds. I wouldn't even notice it if I don't see cattle egrets on a regular basis.

No flash on that one, but I tweaked hue/saturation some. Their colors do change from week to week this time of year though. We're not seeing the incredibly bright colors on the beaks as we did not too long ago. The bird happened to be in position where there were no shadows cast. They're trained to do that.
