1. We had a monarch begin to emerge on our fence today

2. It was doing fine

4. In a split second it just fell to the ground

5. So I put a stick near it on the ground, and it crawled onto it

6. It climbed right to the top

7. So I carefully lifted the stick to the height of the empty chrysalis, and it slowly attached itself back to the fence

8. Then it found a nice corner to dry its wings
