The moon and the stars,

    This shot was taken tonight with a 70-200 + 2X TC

    This is a futile effort. I would like to get better at these kind of shots. C&C is greatly appreciated and if anyone has any helpful tips I also would love that too. thanks,

  2. Did you shoot Mup & do you have a good tripod? That's first & foremost. Also, the 2X TC's aren't as sharp as the 1.4 or 1.7 TC from Nikon. So that will have effect. Also, did you use a remote for this shot?

    These are some of the first things I learned when it came to shooting the moon.

    I like the shot though.

  3. Nice shot, I think the length of the shot worked against you a bit, as the tracking seems to have softened everything up a bit... but the satellite track through the image is real cool! I like the image, it's got such a peaceful feeling about it. Keep up the good work!
