I agree with the majority! This is a neat shot. It is nice to have a wide angle, it opens up alot of options.

Nice shot , good balance But I see deep inside she is saying (Frits Where Is My Morning Coffee)
  9. Thanks Joe
Making coffee is my standing morning duty and the first thing I do when I get up. She has a nice cup of Java with her, but just out of the picture .
  10. Very nice picture, love it more cause it is in Black & White.
  11. B&W was a good choice for this fetching shot. Well done.

A nice moment, captured nicely, a quite calm, peace, beauty, ritual, routine, all words that come to my mind when viewing the image, makes you think, ponder, Great BW conversion,

  13. Lovely shot, Frits. Did you use a tripod? It looks so spontaneous I would have guessed not except the shutter speed is 1/4. (or is Anne just so used to being a subject that all the gear doesn't faze her?)
  14. Thanks Dave!
No tripod for this spur-of-the-moment shot.
We were both up real early on this nice summer day. We were having a Java and were reading the paper. When I saw Anne like this from my seat, it struck me as a very nice setting, perspective, light and pose.
This happens fairly regularly ( I love looking at her, even after the many years ) . Then I quickly and quietly get the camera and the lens I have in mind and snap a few.
I kind of hunkered down for this wide angle shot and used my "body support" technique, with which I can get by with some pretty low shutter speeds .
  15. I guessed it was something like this. You're very steady, young man!
  16. Very nice. I like the light, compo and of course B&W. Well done!
  17. Frits........... just superb!

  18. Frits, great BW image of a lovely lady...
