The Nikon Noct 58 f/1.2 Lens Review. The Most Beautiful Lens in the World?

Not something I’d want, but it does read like it’s a good one to hang onto.

It is a wonderful lens, at one point I had 3 in my stable, two were great, and one was oh my gosh $&**(()’kHz incredible off the charts. I sold the two rather quickly ( less than a year) for a good profit, and the last one was sold for a larger profit a few years later when prices spiked, and helped fund my purchase of my other magical lens, the 200 vr. I regret selling that third one. I sold it for a touch over 3, the other two I sold for about 2, all I had bought for around 1200-1500 back in the day. This activity was all back in 04-07.

I shot my great one all the time at 1.2 1.4, 1.8, f2. Never ever higher. The bokeh and contrast and look was stellar.
