Very impressive.

It would be nice to see the original and to have some brief hints about your process.

Thank you Richard ...... from memory I used Lucis Art to get the illustrated look. I also used Topaz adjust and simplify to help get the painted look. I added some textures and used Topaz noise removal a lot to smooth it out and lose any grain or noise. I used a topaz filter for the last stage to get it more or an old look, given I had it on a white background. Hope that helps and thanks for looking. Bob

And which tool did you use to add the colours? Or was that using layers and masks in Photoshop?

Yes, Photoshop ...... added a new layer for each color and then just used the paint brush.
