Another nice series. Almost makes me embarrassed to post mine.
But don't stop posting, gives me a goal to reach. Nice..clean, sharp, well exposed pics.

  4. Mike, these are fantastic. I've been struggling with my new 300mm, f2.8 VR lens when I've tried it with my daughter's softball team. The lack of action and erratic play makes it quite frustrating.

Your lighting here is superb. Almost looks like you've used a fill flash. I've been plagued with bright, afternoon Florida sun for my shots and the shadows really kill the facial expressions.

You're an inspiration for me to keep trying!

Wonderful action photography Mike. Are these cropped or out of the camera? I have a difficult time shooting this tight because of uncertainty with cropping at the knees. I tend to capture the entire player's body rather than shooting tighter.

Great shots again. I'm sure that the parents will be very pleased.

3,4 and 6 get my top picks! Nice framing with these and as always you seem to captivate their expression.

  8. Very nice pop with the shallow DOF and great bokeh. F2.8 is not just for challenging light conditions. ;-)

  9. Thanks all for looking and commenting I appreciate it, I love shooting your sports the older they better the quality of play but the enthusiasm wanes

Superb shots. It almost looks as if they are doing some kind of dance.
