Here are some pix from our semifinal win for New Hampshire Boys Div II. Hope you enjoy the story. The light faded fast, but the D700 came through in keeping the shutter speed up high. ISO hit as high as 6400.

17. Terrible photo, but this was the winning, tie-breaking shot with 5 seconds to go. Clock was stopped after this shot with 1.7 seconds left and the other team won the faceoff. Fortunately, they could not get to the goal when the clock ran out:

Very nice! That goalie coming out of the crease means only one thing to me as a former midi :370:

Tim, I didn't include the rest of the shots of the goalie coming out, but he didn't realize there was a man-on and he lost the ball. Fortunately, the D got back and prevented the quick goal. Another time he came out (at Pinkerton) he got ambushed and went to the hospital in an ambulance after two middies crushed him unnecessarily violently.

Yikes! Never want to see a guy go to the hospital!!! Glad he's ok now. I swear when the goalie comes out he only thinks of running the whole field and scoring.

I agree Tim! Thanks Pete. Only touchs done in Picasa which I use to manage my pix. If someone orders then I will sometimes do a Noiseware and/or Capture NX to make them pop further.
