The Tamron 90 Macro meets my D700

  1. I'm NOT a macro photographer. I like to try, but don't get pretty results like a lot of real macro shooters do. I'm doing this as requested by Nute. All of these were handheld, with only an overhead kitchen light.

Oh, and no processing, these are opened and saved as jpeg.

  2. Holy crap! I was looking at these, going, oh yeah, nice colors, etc.... then noticed, 6400... Holy CRAP!!!!

  3. Great shots, thanks for sharing!

  4. No kidding. The color alone makes me happy because with both my D300 and D80 the color shift at high ISO required me to do major PP to correct. Or as a last resort...black and whites became my friend. :)

ETA: Oh, and you don't wanna see normal ISO 200 shots here on the D700 forum do you.....it's all about pushing this sensor to it's limits!

    Anytime.
