Actually it was shot at first light....

Frank...you shot this sucker as well just before we unloaded a couple of zillion shots on the eagle!

Subject isolation is very nice, composition well done, and exposed well, too.

I do see the compression artifacts around the higher-contrast parts of the image, but they're not distracting unless I view the image with a loupe.

Can't wait to see what you do with the D2X!

I have found if you bring up your image in pbase and then click on large and then click on original so that the word original is in the URL you are pasting into your message at the Nikon Cafe pbase will apply some compression. Below is two shots the first is your original post and the 2nd is with the word original in the URL that i posted. Hope you don't mind
