Here is a shot from our last snow fall. A 30 sec exposure of this tree with snow on it and the sky is lit up from the sodium lamps on the nearby road.

Nikon D1x, 20mm F/2.8 lens @ F/8, 30 sec. ISO 125

That is one

excellent image, and it is a credit to your vision of what the shot might look like.
A lot of people, including me, would not have had a clue that such a photo was possible.

What a surreal photo with no optical filtration - no need for IR UV ... really cool. Was there much tweaking to get the faux color or is it pretty much the color ofthe sodium apour lamps?
