The Up Side of Smoke and Ash...

  1. The evening of the day I took the photo of downtown Jacksonville (previous thread), obscured by the haze prodiced by the fires in south Georgia, I went to the County Dock on the St. Johns River in Mandarin, FL and shot this. Viewed in the original size, you can actually see a sunspot (slighly left of center, about a third of the way down the face of the sun). It's not dust as the spot shows up in multiple shots taken from an assortment of locations at various focal lengths...
