The vertical tripping button

  1. Even if I lock it, it often unlock and when i hold the camera by the grip while walking i often hit that button, see what happens sometime when i do.

    I used to do that all the time with my Mamiya 645. That got expensie!
     
  6. Chris was your 645 motorised? The only camera that i really took pictures by mistake before was the view camera, when you expose the film without closing the lens down.

    hi gilles-

    i like the patterns and the colors. there was an article in pop photo recently about using camera motion to create photos similar to yours, intentionally though :)

    out of curiosity, do you know what was the subject?

    Nah - not motorized, but I had the handle with a trigger. I'd walk around with my finger on the trigger and when I least expected it, KA-CHUNK it'd fire off a shot. Dang! (It only had 15 shots to a roll of 120 film!) Then I'd crank-wind it, and probably do the same thing within 10 minutes. I've got a lot of Ektachromes the look remarkably like your shot.
