They've been flocking to the island...

  1. Went back to Bear Point after folks there told me thousands of
    birds fly in from 6:30pm on to roost. It was amazing, to the left
    and right of me, birds coming in from other areas, to roost in the
    preserve. A steady flow, in 3's and 4's and more. Here are a couple
    shots I took:

    Good job on the flight shots Harris! Did you do these handheld? Can't wait to try some of this too! :wink:

    Gale, it is getting crazy there at dusk, may hurt my neck choosing which one to shoot... :smile: The third one is a little blue I believe.

    Steve, all handheld. On a monopod, but for me to shoot them, have to lift the rig up off the mono.
