Really like the way the reds look in this one.. true to life when you look at the flower... only took a year.. but i like it..

Would you like to share the technique? That is a beautifully saturated flower - and red is soooo difficult to get right.

Thanks.. took some playing to get the reds right.. I use the Sreala_version2 coustom curve in my D70 i also use sharpening set at+1
color mode 1a saturation 0 and Hue-3... i also have my WB set at flash -2

    Here is the other data
    Camera model: NIKON D70 Date/Time: 2005:12:18 16:37:00
    Resolution: 800 x 532 Flash used: Yes
    Focal length: 105.0mm Exposure time: 0.0020 s (1/500)
    Aperture: f/14.0 Exposure bias: 0
    Whitebalance: cloudy Metering Mode: spot
    Jpeg process: Progressive
i set the camera on manual mode and set the aperture to f14 and shutter to 1/500 and pop up the on board flash and shoot away.. seems to do a nice job on the reds.. found out for sure you need to turn down the saturation..
i usally shot it at enhanced but for the reds that is way to much... spot meter also works the best for reds.. hope this helps...
