This guy didnt have a good day either...

  1. after seeing Georges photo, figured this one was in the same vein. Looks like he mighta got fried on the high tension line. Either way, his gene pool is over. Sad to see, but nothing we can do...

    Wow, that's an amazing sight Harris. If he got zapped, wouldn't he be burned up?

    More than likely, it was an impact death. In order for electrocution, the bird would have to be grounded, and they usually aren't. Witness all the birds sitting on the wires and squirrels running along them (until they slip and hit a transformer, then, bam, out go the lights).
    Darwin wins again......

  7. I assumed he was sparked, but no smoldering and he doesnt look ready for the plate. almost looks like he's hung up on something. I hate to see such an amazing animal end up like this. Very sad.

  10. thanks Gale, it was a drive by near the nuke plant, cant really stop so had to shoot on the fly... so to speak
