This weed

  1. I don't what weed it is. But I liked it the moment I saw it. But I am confused which of these two shots brought out the best of this weed.The bokeh of the lens is amazing

    Roy, Great shots and very good composition. #2 is my favorite but I would keep both as they are both good shots. Thanks for sharing.

    They are grasses of different varieties. Quite tall. Here in Fla they plant alot of this stuff.
    They are very graceful and pretty.
    yes have seen some in the wild also those seed blow a long way
     
  5. The common name is 'Fountain grass' and these will be species of [Latin name] Pennisetum

  9. Tom the picture was shot with Kiron 70-210/4 MF lens, which has excellent bokeh. After seeing people using generally pro Nikon AF glass, I very often hesitate to mention the old glass, which I generally use.
