Thought for the day...

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by TOLady, Jul 29, 2005.

If you can start the day without caffeine,

If you can get going without pep pills,

If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,

If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,

If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,

If you can take criticism and blame without resentment

If you can ignore a friend's limited education and never correct him,

If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend,

If you can conquer tension without medical help,

If you can relax without liquor,

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,

...Then You Are Probably The Family Dog!

  11. It's OK Paul, Panos and I were just chatting on MSN Messenger at the same time as posting these, so we were posting about teasing each other of cats versus dogs....
Panos has a VERY large sense of humour - he knows this is all in fun! hence his post about points....
  12. Bwahahahaha!! That post fit perfectly on my screen...I could read all of the criteria without scrolling, so I'm going along, checking off which ones I meet.....and then I scroll down and see the dog part. Which makes me LOL, because I swear I relate better to dogs and than to most people....this totally explains it!

Much appreciated by this dog lover (who apparently has quite a bit in common with her canine companions!)
  13. Sommer, when I first read it, I too was thinking humans. After the last line, I re-read the whole thing and sure made me laugh... all makes sense on the re-read. Glad you enjoyed.

Uh, what if you were reading the list, and starting to get desperate because you didn't find ANY that you qualified for??

BTW Panos, I don't know what scoring system you are using, but here's what Pumpkin thinks:

    Bwahahahahahahahah.
  16. Yeah... right... lets ask Dr. Lambros...

  17. Nothing like a Mediterranean who appreciates the feminine mystique!! *LOL*
That pooch sure looks like you've taught him to keep his eyes open for anything long-legged walking by!! *LOL* and a sniffer to match!
  18. Panos,
Im thinkin you are a sick puppy :^)
  19. I was having my morning coffee while reading it, and the immediate reaction after the first line was..'sh*t, I fail'.

    Thanks, Sandi.
